Rapid FDM Prototyping Prototype Injection Molding

LOWEST COST - Most FDM prototype jobs cost our customers under $1,500.

SPEED - Most FDM prototype jobs can be shipped within 48 hrs of receiving a 3D STEP CAD file of the part to be prototyped

FUNCTIONAL PARTS- You will get an ABS plastic part just like your 3D CAD model. In most cases it can be used for testing basic fit & function in plastic assemblies and it is the first step in bringing your computer concept into a "real world" part.

The ABS plastic material used in the FDM process can be sanded, drilled, painted ...etc with secondary work.

The FDM parts are  moderately rigid and can be very functional for testing parts that must fit together. We can also produce FDM prototypes for you in white, red, blue and yellow colors. But, if the material selection of your part is very critical to your testing then you will need molded prototypes.

LOW COST- Most molded prototype parts cost our customers under $10,000 for (100-500) samples and the mold.

PART QUALITY- Prototype Molding can produce production quality parts without the expense or lead times of building production tooling. We can also use any plastic material your part requires.

"Real world" parts that will meet all of your expectations.

TIMING- almost all Prototype Molded parts can be shipped within (1-3) weeks of receiving a 3D CAD file of the part to be produced.

TOOLING- Molded prototypes require that we build you an aluminum mold. The mold will belong to you and we can make more parts for you with it in the future. In most cases, the mold can be re-worked for changes that you may need after you have tested your parts.

Although prototype tooling can produce several thousand parts in a very short time, it is not designed to produce very high quantities of parts like production tooling.
